Kids can go fishing and catch 13" crappies.
Last week at the resort, we had lots of kids. These kids ranged anywhere from 3-17, and all were having a great time. Minnesota resorts are unique because even with such a wide age range, all kids can find something to do. Minnesota resorts like ours provide a family friendly atmosphere and plenty to do for everyone.
To get an idea what all of these kids like to do on vacation, I decided to ask them while I was watching the lodge. Ellissa, who is 10 said that her favorite thing is the long hot showers after being in the lake all day. "I just like the whole resort," her sister Anna (14) said. "Everyone is really nice and it's fun getting to be with my family." Family time is one of the biggest things that people love about their vacations. Kate, a 17 year old said, "Beating my uncle in tetherball is my favorite thing. Gotta whoop up on him sometimes."
Now, everyone knows that fishing is a great thing to do on vacation. However, some people think that's only for adults, but this isn't the case. Holden, who is 8, loves to fish off the dock and "catch the big ones" with his cousin, Ethan. Ethan, who is 15, was out on the water by 6 am his first day here. "My favorite thing is the freedom to go where you want, when you want. AND the fishing is great." With such a friendly environment, a family resort is a great place for kids to run off and play with other kids, go fishing, or just hang out without parents having to worry about them all the time.
Needless to say, kids of all ages can have a great time at Two Inlets Resort.
