I know you are wondering what Bob is doing in this picture. Well, I'll tell you. A guest this week had a plastic part on his ski boat break, preventing him from pulling his kids skiing and tubing. The guest came to Bob right after it happened, and Bob went to work calling around to area marine dealers looking for the part. Not able to find the part locally, it was ordered and shipped next day express. This picture shows him attempting to repair the part for the short term with epoxy glue and a hair dryer. (It never hurts to try!) In a nut shell, he is providing personal service to a guest so that that guest can have the best vacation experience possible.
This past Saturday guests pulled into the resort ready to begin their family vacation. They pulled their boat all the way from Kansas, only to find that their battery was dead. Bob replaced their battery with one of ours so they could get out on the water right away, and put their battery on our charger. By the next day it was clear that the battery wouldn't hold a charge, so our guests went to town and bought a fresh battery. Another example of personal service found at a Minnesota resort.
Stories like these are more common than you might think. I wonder what the experience would have been for these guests had they been staying in a private lake home rental where the owner is not on site? I think the result would have included much more frustration and wasted family vacation time for the guests!
We hope you will consider the importance of personal service, and choose a family owned and operated resort for your next Minnesota family vacation. Service with a smile is our guarantee!
Until next time ~~ Jennifer
