If you like to fish for walleyes, you may be interested in reading Bob's fishing journal entry from opening day .............
"May 11, 2013 - Minnesota Governor's Fishing Opener - Guided Mark Ratter from Midwest Outdoors and Henry Drewes, Regional Fisheries Supervisor from Bemidji. Ice is only half off the lake. Water temp is 39 degrees - air temp 38 degrees. NW wind 20 mph gusting to 30 mph. Fished north end of Two Inlets Lake adjacent to spawning areas from 7:45 to 11:00 am. Saw two nice walleyes caught in inlets. Our boat had one bite, no fish. Went back out at 7:30 pm with friend, Gus, and caught one pitching a jig and minnow and another jig/drift. Late ice out, cold front and post spawn walleyes are making it tough."
Until next time ~~ Jennifer
