Un-retouched photo of an August sunset on Two Inlets Lake.
If you are still shopping for a family vacation at a Park Rapids area resort but haven't been able to make that final decision yet, I'd like you to consider the natural amenity of sunsets. Our resort faces straight west, so we get a fantastic view of the sunset every day. Not all resorts in Minnesota face west, and we are REALLY glad we do! I strongly encourage you to keep the feature of "great sunset viewing" in mind as part of your decision making process.
I post on Facebook several times a week, varying my posts to appeal to a variety of people. Sometimes I post pictures of big fish, fun at the swimming beach, relaxing on screen porches, funny pictures of kids on vacation, even weather and lake condition updates. But when I post a picture of a sunset, these posts receive the most Likes and Comments of any, telling me, in a nut shell, that people love a beautiful sunset. And if it's a particularly spectacular sunset, watch out!
At Two Inlets Resort you can watch the sunset in a variety of locations, and always in comfort. You can sit on the bench at the end of your dock. Or sit in the adirondack chairs on the lakeshore. If you prefer to be "semi" inside, watch from your cabin's screen porch (every cabin has one!). And if you prefer to be inside in the evenings, just watch out your picture window.
Here are a few pictures of sunsets that I've taken over the years. I'm sharing them to give you a good idea of how different they all can be.
Until next time ~~ Jennifer
